A: If your present hosting provider can no longer answer the requirements of your web site, or if you suffer from continual downtime, or if you have to wait for hours for the client care team to get back to you, it might be smart to change your hosting provider, i.e. to move all the files for your web sites as well as your databases from your current provider to your future provider. This is the reason why we will accomplish all that for you for free!Our competent technical team will move your website content from your current hosting provider to us. Our techs have got a lot of experience migrating websites and can take care of anything – from a traditional WordPress blog or Joomla^™–powered site, to an extremely complex, custom–made web application.

A: While we can’t give you a precise time frame, since there are a lot of variables, including the size of the files and databases, the physical location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will do our very best to migrate your site within 48h, and in some cases – within 24h (in case the content is not very large).

A: Yes. We will need to have the name of the site that you want us to move. We’ll also need a way to log into your present hosting account so that we can get the files pertaining to your site.

A: In order for us to begin the migration of your web hosting account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to share the exact same details you have given to your current web host. We also have a very rigid Privacy Policy, which describes how personal information is used.

A: Your website will continue to work exactly like it did before with your previous hosting provider. When we have finished the migration, your web site will be configured to work on our system and we’ll ask you to preview it. If everything is working correctly, all you will have to do is update the NS resource records for your domain. Your site will be transferred over to us without any downtime.

A: Nah. Apart from your login details for the Control Panel, we will not need anything. We will never touch base with your hosting provider. They will not know anything about the transfer either.

A: Yep. We support all traditional Linux–driven web hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–driven web hosting platforms, as we don’t offer Windows hosting solutions ourselves.In addition, we do not support proprietary site creation and administration user interfaces like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
